It would never occur to me to drive and try to text message at the same time. It had never occurred to me that anyone else would think this was OK! But it seems that some drivers are doing just that, especially teens. Of course I am not an automatic thumbtyping pro like kids are, but still...it is terribly dangerous. A very sad result of this risky behavior is described in a column offered today by Ana Venciana-Suarez. Take a look:
